For the last 3 years, Mike
Cheesman has headed up a group of EP!C individuals, volunteers, and employees
to volunteer with Spook Hollow’s Haunted trail in Marquette Heights. This is a
community event put on by the Marquette Heights Men’s Club for the last 37
years, and is considered the longest running “Outdoor Haunted Attraction” in
Illinois.
The group from EP!C proudly
contributes, as they transform into the monsters of the night with the help of
a team of make-up artists. For hours before the headlining performance, steady
streams of ghouls, zombies, clowns, mad doctors, and victims of unfortunate
events, come to life and get ready to scare. The fun has just started once the
make-up is completed.
The night is filled with
delighted fright, as attendees make their way through the hour long haunt.
This event attracts hundreds of people, every night, willing to wait in 2 hour
long lines. But it is all worth it for the chance to witness the grand creation
that so many have worked so hard to create the “Trilogy of Terror”. The
tour starts out with the original “Spook Hollow” deep in the woods of
Independence Park. Then the tour leads to the “M.C. Manor,” which
consists of a “ a spine tingling haunted mansion with movie quality rooms”. To
finish the tour, “M.C. Nightmare” which is “a twisted and run down industrial
haunt”
We look forward to seeing you
there! Please join us at 7pm on October 16th; 17th; 23rd; and 24th. On the 24th
there will be a kid friendly, not-so-scary event starting at 6pm.
